Top 8 Fun Ways To Celebrate Halloween in Las Vegas

No one does Halloween like Las Vegas. As a city of performers and artists we know how to get into costume. The Strip will have big parties and skimpy costumes, but off the strip you will find the true Vegas Halloween. In Las Vegas, Halloween is not just a night but a celebration that lasts all week. Halloween falls on a Monday? No problem. Adults play on the weekend, and take their little critters out Monday night. The question is where do you start the party?

The Downtown Pub Crawl on Saturday, October 29th, is unlike any other.  Meet other costumed locals as you crawl from bar to bar.  The tour includes Gold Spike, Vanguard, Atomic, and Park on Fremont. Many of these bars have their own costume contests going on.  If you have never seen Vegas costume contests you are in for a real treat. These costumes are over the top, larger than life, and downright insane.  Costumers roam the streets to frighten and surprise gawkers as they compete. The crawl itself will end at the Rooftop Pool of the Downtown Grand. There is a $1000 grand prize pack for the best costume of the crawlers.  Buy your tickets here.

Oddfellows is a small hidden bar beneath the behemoth that is the Ogden. With a small set of glass doors, it appears to be a small several seat bar with raw woods and white stone. Inside there is a tiny sconce-lit hallway with tucked away booths. Each booth has a Ouija board inviting you to call the spirits you desire most. They say on Halloween the veil between worlds lifts allowing us to reach the dead. Will you make it through this hallway and into the hidden club beyond? Oddfellows will have the party raging all Halloween night long until the sun rises.
