On November 12th the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center will host its first annual ThrowDown.   Las Vegas ThrowDown is a mashup of a concert and extreme sports performance where 60 athletes and 20 bands will hit the stage.  Downtown will be transformed into a snowboarder’s paradise complete with snow and features created by Shawn Darling’s ParkFab crew. This will be unlike anything Las Vegas has ever seen and we are looking forward to getting in on the action.  The event is all-ages and will feature more than 40 actions sports vendors, an age 21+ beer garden, and the best food trucks in Las Vegas. Tickets are still available on Ticketmaster and start for as little as $7.79. We will see you there!

From the Las Vegas ThrowDown Web Site:

The 85,000-square-foot Downtown Las Vegas Events Center will be transformed into a state-of-the-art action sports playground with impressive lighting and sound elements as well as the most talented lineup of musicians Las Vegas has to offer.

Hosted by skate legend and X-Games emcee Dave Duncan, activations within this thrilling space include ski/snowboard face-offs on ParkFab’s custom-built rails and jumps, covered in 30 tons of chipped ice, and a custom-built BMX Big Air jump.

Attendees will get in on the action with the opportunity to launch themselves off the 20-foot Zero Shock Jump into a stunt airbag or get sideways in an adult Big Wheel during the Monster Trike race. This all-ages event will offer more than 40 action sports vendor booths with all the latest gear, a 21+ craft
beer tent, full-service bars and bites from Las Vegas’ most popular food trucks.
